HELP! My ISP changed ip addresses for his smtp server so that it is no longer on the same subnet and now smtp rules are being enforced more rigouruosly. As a result miva scripts that send emails don't work unless the reciepent is in the same domain as the sender and is in a domain that the smtp reconignizes in the RCP host, affectively overriding the smtp rule. Does anyone now what value needs to be added to the RCP hosts so that miva is seen as a valid sender. I thought that the from address would do this but apparently miva is recogonized as being from some different domain?

Thanks

Contact your host and find out if you have a new mail host.

Usually changing the mail host to 'localhost' will fix the problem, however check with your ISP to be sure.

A responsible host however, would not have made such changes that cause such an impact without notifying customers there would be a change.
