Do I need it Ultimate Seo Links?

I am on the second page for my main key word using the merchant dynamic urls. Would it improve my ranking to use short urls (Ultimate Seo Links by Sebenza) or would making the switch do more harm than good to my current ranking? If i am already ranked is it wise to make the switch?

1. simply switching to static does absolutely nothing for your ranking in of itself whether it be actual pages or appearing as static pages. Google or any other search engine will not suddenly say "oh, it has .html at the end of it. it must be more relevant

2. could it possibly start you over? yes

3. could it possibly help with faster indexing of your site now and in the future? possibly depending on overall seo plan

For now I will not implement Ult. SEO links. I will take a step back and create an overall SEO plan.
