    UPS Surepost and Miva Merchant?

is there a module or is it in the works for UPS Surepost compatibility?

Surepost is becoming more available to all shippers now, my UPS rep has told me, and is available to shippers of most any volume from within WorldShip. I didn't see anything about this on Miva's site in latest releases.

No, it's on our radar but we don't support it yet.

Having just gained interest in this is well I have to ask how wide the radar is?

The radar is wide if you will as in we're definitely going to support it and add it the next time we crack open the UPS module. Right now with Version 9 coming soon, all I can say is sometime after Version 9 is released.

You can add a SurePost method into Miva Merchant manually. I used a combination of the "Weight Table Based Shipping" and "CBS - Shipping SuperMod"

In the Weight Table Based Shipping module I created 9 different methods (zones 2 through 8, military, and other). The other method includes AK, HI, and territories such as GU, PR, VI). Each method has 9 different weights with shipping costs. Your UPS rep can provide you your SurePost shipping costs (NOTE: your cost list will usually not include the fuel surcharge).

In the CBS - Shipping SuperMod I set the min and max weight and location information for each for the Weight Table Based shipping method. Note all the zones will need postal codes and the military and other methods use a combination of country and state information. You can get the appropriate postal codes for each zone from the UPS Web site.

Any update as to when MM9 and SurePost will be out? :)

Our UPS rep just approved us to use SurePost.

Re: UPS Surepost and Miva Merchant?

Miva Merchant 9 is still due out in Q3 of this year.

SurePost has no ETA (and will not be this year).
              Thanks,

Oh no, we are switching to UPS today and I just realized there is no Surepost option in Miva? Anyone have suggestions?

Re: UPS Surepost and Miva Merchant?

We'll be adding support in Q1, the only other option for rates is to use the FedEx module and rename them as UPS (assuming you can get the rates to be close).
                  Thanks,

Thanks for the update Rick! I might give that idea a try.
