Anyone doing 2-factor authentication in MIVA?

I'm looking for a software-based 2-factor authentication solution, say by using text messages to a smartphone.

Does anyone have any experience doing this with MIVA merchant?

The upcoming version 9 release is going to support Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) so you could hook a third party two factor system in if needed. In-house, we test using Google Authenticator which has a nice app for Android and iPhone.

If you mean for logging into the Admin, yes it's built into Version 9. Just turn it on.

          Rick,

Is any additional integration required with a third party like Google Authenticator?

It works with any TOTP program, but yes our docs and testing are all based on Google Authenticator and that's what I personally use.
            Thanks,

              Rick,

We would like to offer it to customers.

If we hook up with Google Authenticator, what is required for customers to use it too?

It doesn't work that way, this is for Admin (Backend) accounts only, you'd have to write a custom module to use it on Customer Facing accounts. This is the first I've heard of that request.
                Thanks,

I need this custom module ASAP. If anyone can do it now, please leave your contact details.
