    Coupon messaging

    We're really liking the new marketing. One feature that would be beneficial to our customer experience would be a little more robust messaging, letting them know what is going on when they take advantage of promotions and coupons. For example, with prioritization, Miva will remove lesser value coupons or promotions which do not combine. But unfortunately there is no message for this action so we can tell the customer what just happened.

    Under User Interface, there is a tab for Error Messages. This allows you to customize the all error (and informational) messages of the store including the coupon messaging.

    I don't think there is a specific message for the action you're needing. Miva does this behind the scenes. Your best option may be to add a message to the basket screen telling customers, coupons are automatically adjusted to give you the best discount when multiple coupons are used.

      Good suggestions, and we are doing both at this time. I just wanted to post in the dream features forum that we're hoping the messages will be expanded in the future. Right now there are only three messages to cover all the possible actions or inactions, which is a little light for how robust the marketing features are now. Thanks again for keeping it in mind for future updates.
