    Re: product reviews for 2014

But of course. We'll probably be asking you to beta test it too :)

    Re: product reviews for 2014

That would be goal #1 for ours as well. We are working an auto import feature so you don't even have to do anything.

    Re: Payment on Account module

    Leslie,

Curious. What is the 'purpose' behind the module. Does the client keep their own accounting of balance due? Is the accounting done completely through the admin? Why wouldn't a 'P.O.'...

    Re: product reviews for 2014

There is also Yotpo, whose connector module is being reworked by Glendale ATM.

Also, though no time frame as yet, we are working on a non-hosted version...that will specifically be able to use...
  5. Re: unselected attribute in basket

well, you need to have a null value for the option "Select One". I believe the only way to do this is via the attribute template using a conditional like:

    <mvt:foreach iterator="option"...

    Re: image url

    1. Open Web Site in Chrome.
    2. Right click on image and choose Inspect Element.
You should see something similar to image 1.
    3. In the bottom pane, move the selection up (just click on the html...
  7. Re: "Fake Product" to redirect to another category?

I'd think that having it look somewhat different, would be a plus.

The category footer item can be placed anywhere outside the "Foreach" loop of the Category Product List template.
  8. Re: "Fake Product" to redirect to another category?

Why not just use the Category Footer container and format it as desired?

    Re: need help with kits

    There's a difference.

Miva's 'Kit builder' relies on 'variants'...which have their own overhead. If you simply need a product made up of other products, the add on, if still available, would be...
  10. Re: Live Preview of Personalized Monogramming

If Andreas 's beautiful system is too much, and a JS pop-up too low end, consider using a somewhat simpler approach of CSS (and maybe some JS.

For example, the idea would be to use Attributes for...
  11. Re: Report Card in Use for Paypal Payments Pro

No, not really. It would be great to have it right there on the main order screen...but we can live with on the other tab.
  12. Re: Report Card in Use for Paypal Payments Pro

Yes...that one. Apparently the info is available via the admin when you click on Payment module detail tab...Thought it would be listed in the Payment info area on the main order detail screen.
  13. Re: Toolkit compatible with Miva 9

First, eval l.all_settings:category:customfield_values:customfields:catfilter1 to see if toolkit is getting it.

    <mvt:eval expr="l.settings:category:customfield_values:customfields:catfilter1" />

  14. Report Card in Use for Paypal Payments Pro

Don't know who's doing the Paypal Payments pro module, but could whoever is authoring add Card Type used to Pay Data so it can be seen in the Merchant admin?

We LOVE the fact that we can do a...
  15. Re: $50 per additional simultaneous Administrative User

This isn't something that is "built in" but its something fairly easily to add...however, you'd need to make sure you protect this access and that the data was pretty sanitary.
  16. Re: $50 per additional simultaneous Administrative User

You could view orders, but yea, if you need to modify orders (add/remove/change charges) will will need to go through the admin.
  17. Re: $50 per additional simultaneous Administrative User

Live and Dev sites have the same, but separate seat licenses, so you can be in both at the same time.
  18. Re: $50 per additional simultaneous Administrative User

Not arguing with your sentiments, however, the above statement just isn't true. They do have liability as the non-compliance fees get charged TO Miva directly...not the customer.
  19. Re: $50 per additional simultaneous Administrative User

Non-Compliance...Miva requires that you remain on the latest release. Its the only way they can insure PCI compliance. Pretty much every cart that is truly PCI compliant does this.

    Re: Local Dev Site Setup

You will also need something to run MySQL locally. As an alternative, you can request a "developer" store here:

  21. Re: $50 per additional simultaneous Administrative User

Not necessarily. Have several clients who use a front-side order creation system for their phone reps. Much faster than the admin if its setup that way. (Well, to be fair, its because we can control...
  22. Re: $50 per additional simultaneous Administrative User

  23. Re: Toolkit TKSL fucntion and redirects when category code and product code are in a

under Logging...but make sure you turn it off again after testing as it eats up disc space...also, the output, malf.log will located in the root of your data directory.
  24. Re: Original Miva Shipping Method Conditionals

Wouldn't you also want to use:

  25. Re: Toolkit TKSL fucntion and redirects when category code and product code are in a

can you log what the TKSL screen is seeing for Cat and Product code?

(If you have MALF log turned on, it should already show these.)
