  1. Re: retrieval of customer checkout info using email address, OK?

How does the ability to view order history by email and zip code, which reveals an order's ship to and bill to information, fit into this security issue?

  3. Re: Trying to Add Custom Fields to Printable Invoice Template

In the confirmation template we read our custom order like this:
    <mvt:item name="customfields" param="Read_Order(l.settings:order:id,'shipmentcarriers')" />

  4. Re: retrieval of customer checkout info using email address, OK?

    Hi Pamela:
Not sure what you mean by pretty big. My concern is if this violates any security rules, the AJAX coding to retrieve the information will be routine.

    Re: Order Notes

When the basket is converted to an order at INVC, the basket notes have been converted to order notes. You can read the order notes with the Read_Order function: <mvt:item name="customfields"...

Hey Bruce: That was it. Many thanks!
The $ is a concatenation operand it appears? Wish I had some concise documentation on these Miva functions. Have no clue about them.
    Thanks again, Larry

  9. Re: Not Mobile Friendly, CSS, SEO...............................

We just have a switch that determines if the mobile specific site or the desktop site is displayed. Can that switch be based on the device's width somehow? Googleing it right now.

  10. Re: Not Mobile Friendly, CSS, SEO...............................

Rick, I like that it senses the width of the device's viewport while ours tests for a device's signature. Is there any way to incorporate that into our mobile site? I's like to be able to set a...
  11. Re: Not Mobile Friendly, CSS, SEO...............................

Thanks Rick: I would call that mobile version a compromise. The mobile specific site you build for us is superior in my opinion.
Especially missed the navigation bar. Only way back to my basket...

I'd like to see a real responsive site. Seems like that is a compromise between a site that looks great on a desktop and one that looks great on a mobile device. I envision something like one size...

Robert, Never have used them for SEO. It would be best to check with them.
  15. Re: Not Mobile Friendly, CSS, SEO...............................

We had Miva build our mobile site and are very happy with it. Take a look at www.rvparksupplies.com on your phone to see the mobile site they created for us.
