  1. Re: foreach array position and foreach break

    STANDARDOUTPUT level should only effect HOW variables and content are output. Should have no effect on WHAT variables are present.

    However, there are several things that can effect what variables...
  2. Re: I'm tired of trying to make this mvt:while loop work, need help!!

    I believe the foreach assumes l.settings: so just use MyArray (and don't use MyArray as the interator).
  3. Re: Cannot make mvt:call operate as expected

    mvcall treats XML namespace tags as HTML.
  4. Re: Template Based Emails -- Custom Trigger event

    No prob...at least when *I* ask that question a month from now I'll have a reference to look up :)
  5. Re: Cannot make mvt:call operate as expected

    miva isn't filtering anything.

    export g.myCallValue to a file, or into a <textarea></textarea> tab to see what is being returned from MvCall. Also, just because you ask for XML doesn't mean you...
  6. Re: Cannot make mvt:call operate as expected

    the variable scope tool probably can't display XML, or the browser is stripping it.

    (Also, your assignment to g.callvalue should probably be something like value="s.callvalue $ g.myCallValue" so...

    Re: CSS Selector 'Trick'

    Should be fine on any HTML5 compatible browser...at the very least, in lesser browsers, it will do no harm. (BTW: you definently shouldn't use ':' in a class selector though :) )
  8. Re: Template Based Emails -- Custom Trigger event

    You don't need an api call if you are triggering from a Merchant event. You can use that same conditional in the actual templated email.

    <mvt:if expr="g.someGlobalWithinINVC">

    content of email...
  9. Re: Required Agreements for International Orders

    Well unless the addendum module uses a managed template (which I don't think it does)...conditionals won't work and you have to use the page templates.
  10. Re: More than one instance of the Addendum

    might be that the mvt assign you are using needs to understand that you want the literal word SELECTED...so you need single quotes 'SELECTED' inside the double quotes.
  11. Re: Burning an HTML copy of store to disk

    yea, there seems to be a major disconnect somewhere.
  12. Re: Required Agreements for International Orders

    Something is wrong then...what page are you doing that test on.

    And to answer your previous question, you should be able to just use different hidden fields for the US / Non-US required fields
    ...
  13. Re: Burning an HTML copy of store to disk

    In that case, we're having a special this week on "Absorbitol". The only safe effective way to reduce the painful inflammation from unreasonable clients :)

    We are working on a vaccine that will...
  14. Re: More than one instance of the Addendum

    Check boxes are easy:

    If your check box looks like this:
    <input type="text" name="checkFoo" value="1" /> Check Box

    Write it as:
    <mvt:if expr="g.checkFoo">
    <input type="text" name="checkFoo"...
  15. Re: Burning an HTML copy of store to disk

    Yes, Optimizer would be one way to get most of the site as a set of static files, there would be some dynamic pages (such as account, basket, etc) that wouldn't be there, and you'd need to copy over...
  16. Re: Required Agreements for International Orders

    You need use javascript/jquery to disable the Continue button unless the checkbox is checked. Lots of scripts out there to do that but that's the basic idea.
  17. Re: Required Agreements for International Orders

    I don't remember how addendum does its 'required' field tests...if its with a hidden field within the form post, then its easy, if not, you might have to convert to using custom fields or use a...
  18. Re: Required Agreements for International Orders

    Simply wrap the different questions with:

    <mvt:if expr="g.billcountry NE 'US'">

    internation questions

    <mvt:else>

    other questions.
  19. Re: Toolkit and Category Codes / Names

    <mvt:if expr="l.settings:category:code EQ 'The_Category_Code'">
    do this
    <mvt:else>
    do something else
    </mvt:if>

    if you need several categories

    <mvt:if expr="'|'$l.settings:category:code$'|'...
  20. Re: Print Order Confirmation Unreadable

    The one for

    *:after one?

    that's what was on line 31 (or closest to it), removing it from body works.

    For prosperity
  21. Re: Print Order Confirmation Unreadable

    Matt,

    Just tried this fix on three separate sites...no change. Display still looks as attached:1105
  22. Re: Unable to replace a custom module, no update button after upload.

    The module has to have the same code, and be at least the same version or higher in order to update.
  23. Re: Pagespeed, cache and ETag in hosting environment

    Just as another voice in the wilderness, I've heard even setting the expire for 60 minutes is adequate and allows for customers to see timely updates.
  24. Re: Built in Phone Order Manager

    It also might be the preferable option. We've used a "front-side" phone order system for several clients. Typically its a page in the site that is protected by availability group or IP. This allows...
  25. Re: PayPal Payments Pro and Product Attributes

    Yes, because of the many different ways a cart could represent product attributes (and some don't even have that concept) paypal just accepts one value for the purchased "item". Not sure, other than...
