    Refunding Shipping

    Hello,
    I'm using PR7 Update 8. I'm trying to refund shipping that was accidentally charged on an order. I'm able in Manage Orders/Edit Shipping to remove the charge, but when I went to capture the funds the full amount was submitted. I'm using First Data Global Gateway. If I remove the charge from the order in Miva, shouldn't Miva then submit the reduced amount to FDGG?

    Also, I've read in other posts that the Refund button becomes active after you enter your password. But I haven't been able to get the password request to appear. I've put a check mark next to the item I wanted to refund, but nothing happens. Is there something else I need to do? Thanks for your help.

    The only way to do a partial refund with that gateway is directly through them.

      Thanks. So does that mean the Refund button will not ever be active for me in the Manage Orders screen? And that removing the shipping info from the order is only for my record-keeping, and has no effect on what Miva sends to FDGG?
