    Set encryption on; can't turn it off

    Some time ago I turned encryption ON for our stored order information. This results in batch reports with " *** PROTECTED *** " displayed where sensitive private data would normally appear in the report.

    Recently we needed to get into the encrypted data to look up some important information. I lost my pass phrase to turn off the encryption for this. There is no online option to reset the pass phrase.

    Does anyone have experience with getting the pass phrase back, or changed? We are always referred to our ISP for all Miva-related questions, because the ISP provides the Miva Merchant system. And the ISP support tech says "It would be almost impossible" to get the pass phrase reset.

    Any input is welcome.

      I already told you how to archive orders and reset it, did you follow those instructions?
