@Matt - yeah I'd previously put a "request" in for a how-to on this. Would really like a Toolkit solution too. Not to slight the Tool Belt.

I've got ColorBox installed, and your code in place and everything seems to be working great! Of course, there is one minor quirk:

In order to open the ColorBox closeup, you have to click the image twice. For the sake of tracking down the source of this, I tried all three code blocks Matt posted. The first of the three behave as they should, the last two need the two clicks.

Is anybody else having this happen to them?

It also seems to ignore ColorBox's maxWidth and maxHeight parameters. I want the images to open as large as possible without making the user scroll. I have this set up in a different section of my site (non-Miva), but it isn't functioning the same here.

Does anyone have an example of this installed that they can share? I'm going to try and do an install of this on a test page- a dupe of the prod display page, so i can work out the kinks, but would love to see it in place somewhere before i get started.

Thanks! That totally fixes the double-click issue! I really appreciate it.

Still having trouble with the maxWidth and maxHeight parameters, though. Any ideas?

Matt is there a difference between MMUI and CSSUI concerning this. I tried your example scripts, yet no dice. MMUI store. Perhaps i didn't do the right steps to install colorbox, i dunno. Looking forward to this blog writeup to hopefully set things straight.

@Dan There shouldn't be any difference with this code between MMUI and CSSUI. Do make sure that you are calling in ColorBox after the Miva Image Machine calls in the product page header.

Thanks Matt. Got it to work, http://www.girlfriendslingerie.com/p...bz-b019gb.html yet I can only get the top script you provided to work. Does your scripts examples refer to a precise example for each occurrence within the color box folder in the examples?. Either way this light years ahead of what it was, just wondering why i cant get the other examples to fire.

@Dan It shouldn't matter which flavor of ColorBox you are using. The testing I did was with #5, although one of my associates has it working with #4.

Thank you Matt for replying. The only example script that works is the first one. Copy and pasting the other setups aren't allowing for any large views to show. So right now im using the first one. I wonder why none of the other ones aren't working.

Did the other thread about the AJAX calls ever happen? I'd like to concatenate the product name and the attribute prompt as the caption, but I don't believe the attribute prompt is available.

BTW I'm doing this with MagicZoom and I will load up a tutorial when I'm finished. I have one issue when the page first loads, and then the caption, and I should be done with a basic implementation.

@Susan, yeap that would be ideal to have an image caption, hopefully that can be figured out and shared. I know Leslie has been trying to figure it out... I got the colorbox setup going, yet only on the smaller script (top example) Matt supplied. The rest don't fire at all and i have no idea why. I grow tired of the moments of brilliance, then stoop down to noob level in a heartbeat... Im sure it happens to us all, but damn... maybe i need to increase my Ginkgo consumption.

Susan, I have been banging my head against a wall for weeks now trying to figure out how to display a caption a popup - I understand that I need to use a custom product field and then have to assign my caption to all 255 variants, I just can't figure out how to call that caption in from each variant. If you've got a solution (that uses Toolkit), pleeeaazzzeee share.
