Synchro - updating already synced orders in Qb after change in Miva

    Synchro - updating already synced orders in Qb after change in Miva

    Hello,

    As you know, we now can change orders in Miva through manage orders, remove items, change discounts, shipping etc.

    Here is a tricky situation.
    a) Received order on Say March 5th
    b) Synced with QB on March 7th
    c) Customer called and order changed or updated on March 9th.

    QB still shows old order amount.

    Is there a way to force Synchro and QB to recognize that this order has changed and update amount in QB?

    We just realized this while preparing for taxes this year, and we may have to go back order by order to see what happened.

    Any help appreciated.

    Sam,

    Synchro does not update orders that have already been synch'd into QuickBooks. It never has, and I don't know if development has any intentions to change/update it. You could however request that in our Dream Features thread.

        They just update QuickBooks accordingly by hand.

          I can chime in from a Development standpoint. There is a core issue of "when an order is complete" that needs to be solved. We don't envision Synchro re-synching stuff in the future, but we do envision the ability to not have it Synch until the Merchant marks it as complete and ready to synch.

            I dont know Synchro all that well, but can I possibly suggest that I synch only up to a certain date, or a certain order number? This way I can wait say 30 days for the return policy to expire, and so sync orders that are 30 days older than today....
