Importing products into multiple categories

Hello,

Is there a way to change category assignments on a mass scale in an import file. I often have products in two are three categories.
One of them is the weekly sale.
If my import file has |CATA,CATB,CATC|
and I change it to be
|CATA,CATB|
It does not register. It still has CATC

The opposite where I add a category does not work as well.
ie. |CATA,CATB,CATC,CAD|
Will not make the product show up in CATD

Is there any way to make this work?

Was there ever a fix for this? I'm finding that categories are not showing in product exports.

NO.

I guess when no one replies, there is no fix, and we are in trouble.
I should submit a ticket. It could be a bug or a feature

One thing I found is that the import system doesn't like my categories that start with zeroes. I think that converting them to text in Excel fixes it but I need to test some more.
