    Additional Payment Gateways?

I have a Miva 5.5 client who is trying to integrate some kind of third party gift card service into their site. That service has its own list of payment gateways that it can work with, none of which appear in my standard install of Miva. Does anyone know if there are modules that would allow use of any of the gateways below?

    Fast Transact
    Mercury Payment Systems
    Payment Processing Inc. (PPI)
    PsiGate
    IP commerce
    EZIC
    ParaData

Thanks in advance for your input.

Do any of them allow for an emulated authorize.net interface? Many competing payment gateways simply offer an interface that follows authorize.net's published API as a way to make their gateway easily compatible with nearly any commerce app since nearly anything out there supports authorize.net. If they do offer that option, you can use that module in Miva Merchant and just change the URL to that of the chosen gateway provider.

      Re: Additional Payment Gateways?

I wrote a Miva module for PsiGate in 2009. I haven't heard from the company in a couple of years, but you could contact them and see whether that will work for you. I also write custom payment modules; so if PsiGate doesn't work for you, maybe we can come up with another solution.

        Hi David,

I just heard back from my client's payment processor about an emulated authorize.net interface. Here is what she sent me:

To use the Gateway Emulator, your shopping cart or application must support the Authorize.net AIM or SIM method of integration. If the application supports the AIM or SIM method, you simply need to change the transaction POST URL to our Gateway Emulator URL.

Do you know if Miva supports the AIM or SIM method? They have sent me two different links depending on whether we're AIM or SIM.

        Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your reply, Rick. I am about to begin building this client a new Miva 5.5 site. We'll be setting up a dev site with you shortly. But they currently have a 4.24 site with you. Can they integrate this Authorize.net emulator with the existing 4.24 site while I am developing the 5.5 site? Or is the emulator function unique to 5.5?

It works on both and probably going back to roughly version 2.14.

Yep; the module in 4.24 does support custom authorize.net URL's so it can be pointed elsewhere. There's a post-4.24 release of that module you'll want to get from our support just to ensure the 4.x store is as current as possible on the module.

Thanks, David. I just submitted a support ticket to request the updated module.
