    Hi alphabet,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We were able to reproduce this behavior, and have filed a bug on it.

Re: Configuring the New Amazon Payments Module

I set up Amazon Payments on our site back in November and everything was working fine until Monday January 20. Each order I received on January 20 where the customer chose to pay with Amazon Payments (6, I believe) were showing pending status and would remain pending for a day and then show a decline status.

6 declines in a row doesn’t happen. It would be very, very unusual to see that many declined payments in a row. The only logical explanation would be that something is not working correctly. The strangest part is that one customer forwarded a copy of the email she received form Amazon stating that her payment to us was authorized.

I emailed amazon and a few days later I received an email saying they would look into it [Case 154787291] but so far I have not heard back from them.

I’ve since disabled Amazon Payments until I can be assured it is working correctly. I was really hoping this would work out because many of our customers seemed to like the idea.

Has anyone else had issues similar to this?

Re: Configuring the New Amazon Payments Module

I am just now getting around to testing out the new Amazon Payments Module and am having the following issue on our development site (Sandbox and Production Mode) after inputting the user name and password: Request had expired. Timestamp date: 2014-02-23T21:51:54:17-05:00.

Is this because there is no SSL Cert on our dev site? I really have no inclination of testing this on our live site.

        Thanks in advance.

Re: Configuring the New Amazon Payments Module

I've just set up Amazon Payments. I created a test account. During checkout, after I click the "pay with Amazon", I get redirected to this URL: http://store-domain.com/merchant.mvc...AMAZONPAY_OCST

That takes me to a "Product not Found" page because the URL is trying to load AMAZONPAY_OCST as the product code rather than the Screen Code.

I can't see anywhere in the BASK template where the code is that redirects after a successful Amazon login...

You should be redirected to the AMAZONPAY_OCST page as Amazon Payments has it's own checkout pages but you should not be getting redirected to a product. I'm wondering if you have some sort of rewrite causing it. Could you email [email protected] and open a ticket so we can take a closer look at it?

I went to your dev store, http://dev.themartialartsstore.com/, and it looks like you have the older Checkout By Amazon module configured instead of Amazon Payments. When I went to your BASK page and clicked on the Amazon button I was redirected to Amazon and Amazon Payments does not take you to Amazon to login.

If you switch over to Amazon Payments and you're still having problems please email [email protected] and we can take a closer look.

                  Jim,

Thanks for the quick reply. The dev site I tried Amazon payments on is http://dev2.themartialartsstore.com/. I'm going to try it on my live site later today as I just upgraded that to version 9.

                    Jim,

I just installed Amazon Payments on my live site and am getting the same exact error. Any ideas?

                      Jim,

Wow that was it. It never dawned on me that my server time was off. I just fixed it and was able to place a test order. Thank you!

Re: Configuring the New Amazon Payments Module

The Amazon Payments module doesn't seem to allow coupon/promo codes. It bypasses where a customer would enter that. Am I missing a configuration option someplace?

                        Thanks.

                          Joe,

Are you using the new Ready Themes or CSSUI? The reason I ask is I just tested this in the new Base Ready Theme and Coupons/Discounts work on my test site.
                          Sincerely,

Thanks for the response. Looks like we were just missing a few lines of code for the coupon module in the new AMAZONPAY page templates.

Re: Configuring the New Amazon Payments Module

Is there any guidance on getting this integrated with the Miva Mobile Commerce design package? Currently the "Pay with Amazon" button just opens a new blank browser tab on a mobile device. Maybe this is a support ticket issue, but thought I'd just check here first. I'm happy to do the coding adjustments to get it working, but wanted to see if was any documented fix already out there. The new Amazon Payment page templates are also not mobile optimized but I guess that's a different issue.

                              Thanks for any thoughts.
