    Product Feed [Automation]

Hi Everyone, new to the Miva world, really enjoyed #mivacon14. I'm working with www.goodgutsolution(previously Crohns.net). Though new here I've been shopping online for years :)

We're looking to add heaps more products, and looking at options to save the labor intensive manual work of adding them individually.

Some suppliers can provide a data feed, has anyone had experience with this? Taking a product data feed from supplier and importing into Miva?

Also, there are product feed automation companies which can continually update the store - any experience there? File2Cart , Inventory Source, eCommHub are some that I've come across

    Thanks

It's really going to depend on the feed itself - products can be imported en masse using a CSV file. If they send it to you in some sort of spreadsheet it usually can be formatted for import. You should also check to see if they can supply you with images, that's a huge plus.
