I’m currently using Authorize Net for my payment gateway but I’m thinking about moving to Paymentech. Does anyone have any pros and cons to either one? Does on work better with Miva? (I'm on the latest version of Miva)

Re: Authorize Net or Paymentech
As Gateway's go, I prefer Authorize.net as a Gateway since it has a more robust user interface. Paymentech (as a gateway) is more of an API and isn't as feature rich/easy to use.
With that said Paymentech as the Merchant Provider with Authorize.net as the Gateway is what I personally recommend (and what we use Corporately at Miva).

I'm presently considering switching merchant processors, Chase has presented their "Orbital Virt Term" plus their rates
How would I benefit using authorize.net as gateway?
Can you help me understand what's the differences here?

Re: Authorize Net or Paymentech
Personally I like it because (while outdated in it's look and feel) Auth.net's Web Interface is highly functional. I also like being able to get transaction emails (even at our size).
Orbital can do just about anything, but it started as an Enterprise grade tool, so many of it's features are hidden behind API's and you have to program it yourself to do them.
I think for most of our Merchant's, Auth.net's Point and Click functionality is more in line with their needs.
