Emporium Plus Volume Pricing w/ Inventory Variants

Does anyone have experience using Emporium Plus' Volume Pricing module with inventory variants? We just installed the latest version, and while it works fine for non-variant products, the discounts do not apply to the basket for products with variants.

I am setting the price breaks on the inactive variant products themselves (i.e. 12|143|1.00^144|+|0.80^), have tried checking and unchecking "Apply Volume Pricing to the Attributes Sum" in the module admin, as well as checking and unchecking "Amalgamate Individual Product Quantity" in the Volume Pricing tab on the products; nothing seems to make any difference. Variant product prices are set to "Sum of Parts" and all 4 modules (cim_vol.mvc, cim_log.mvc, prodvol.mvc, volexp.mvc) are the latest version.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

You check the box "Amalgamate Individual Product Quantity" in the master product. You fill in the volume pricing percentage discounts in the master (active) product. You do NOT check the box nor fill in volume discount percentage tiers in the inactive variants.

Ah ok; so basically it will need to be a percentage discount across all variants rather than a fixed price discount per variant?

Correct. The sum of the parts creates the master product price based on the attribute options selected. Then after the product (with the sum price) is inserted into the basket, the volume percentage discount is applied to that basket value. It uses the tiers and amalgamation configured in the master product.
