Image Machine and Variant Product Import

I've been trying to import my product via Product Variant Import. Everything gets imported correctly except for the IMAGE_TYPE:_MAIN_IMAGE for the variants. It seems like when I first import the PRODUCTS with the main image filled in, it doesn't get over written to the main image column thats in my attributes import template.

This is what i'm trying to achieve:
I want the main image to change once people click on the swatches and/or when they change options. I've assigned the product images to the Main_Image for my variant PART_PRODUCT_CODE but the image doesnt change.

I've set up 2 files for my variant import: 1 is the PRODUCTS that holds all the main info for the product (MASTER) and the other file is an Attribute file that holds all the attributes and options for the variants (PART PRODUCT CODE).

Have you already uploaded the images to the correct location with the correct path in the import? If not you need to. If you go to one of the variants in the miva admin is the image really there and assigned?

I'm also pretty sure it's still true that you will not want to upload more than one image to the main product.

Mark, I have a client with multiple main product images who is successfully using product variant images to swap both the main image and secondary images.

Alexwh, I see that you are using a different image type for your variants. It's my understanding that they should also use the _MAIN_IMAGE type.

Hello,

Is it possible for me to IMPORT Variants WITH IMAGES?

I am successful at Importing Variants, but they all show the same image. When importing I use the format in the excel sheet attached. It is in a Tab delimited format.

What am I doing wrong?

Is it possible to import variants and have them switch to the variant image when the particular swatch is clicked?

Also - is it possible to put a black box around the swatch selected?
