    Assign Multiple products to Category

Just noticed something. When on the "Edit Category" screen on the "Products" tab, there is a check button at the top of the column to assign multiple products to the category, but when you click on the button is does not select all products, it just places a greyed out check box next to each record and then you have to manually check each record. Is this the intended function? It's just as easy to click the slider on every item to assign it. It seems like that check should automatically check all visible products like in Miva 5.5.

I get what you are saying but I also notice that selecting them separately with the "check" opens up the ability to export them or can open up the edit here function without having to keep clicking. I think that's the intended function but your idea of being able to select everything to assign them all at once would be a nice feature.

The reason that is there is primarily for touch devices. Checking that puts it in multi-select mode and allows you to select multiple records.

For the desktop there are two ways to select all:

      1. ctl+a
      2. click the first record and the hold shift, and click the last record (option select also works)

Brennan - Thanks for the response. The ctl + a is nice and works great for me, I didn't realize that worked. I tested the shift method but it does not work on my system, but as long as I can use Ctl+a I'm good :)

I wanted to correct my previous comment. The method 2 mentioned above does work. You just have to have your mouse on the product name not on the left (check box) column.
