    ReadyThemes Utility vs ReadyThemes Framework

Just noticed something while playing around and setting up an MM9 store from scratch - the ReadyThemes Utility is available even though I didn't install the ReadyThemes Framework - to say the least - color me confused. I had thought those tools would only be available with a ReadyTheme.

I know, I shouldn't think, but I need to understand the difference.

    Leslie,

That is confusing, and I'm not sure how exactly we're going to solve that (I will talk to Jon/Dev about it though).

Since we bundled Ready Theme the utility into 9, it's just "there".

Now with that said, our plan is for the new default install to be a slightly modified version of the Ready Themes Base Developer Framework, so in theory out of the box, everyone is on a Ready Theme, unless they go into Frameworks and select CSSUI (the old one) and apply it.

We'll find a way to make this not so confusing.

Re: ReadyThemes Utility vs ReadyThemes Framework

Actually it would make good sense to have a base Ready Theme by default. It's always easier for those in-the-know to revert to a different framework than for those not in-the-know to install/select one.
