Simply clicking the "Next Product" arrow does not necessarily take you to the next product within the category; it will take you to the next product in the master inventory list.
Yes, I too would like the ability to use the "next" arrow to go to the next product within a chosen category. Don't know if this is something that is possible w/the new batch list way of doing things or not.
when you say: "One other thing I have noticed. After doing numerous updates, the images just quit loading. There are little empty boxes where the "Sort," "View," navigation arrows, etc, used to be."
...are you seeing this on a consistent and predicable basis or does it seem more random?

Hey Shannon,
I can see how the Next and Previous buttons on the Edit Product screen doesn't behave in an intuitive way, I can run this by development.
On a side note, did you see my previous post regarding using the Batch List screen to rapidly edit multiple product records at once? I was just wondering if that was a viable solution to the work you're trying to accomplish.
I use multiple admin tabs all the time. When I'm debugging a project, I often need to click around between several different page templates, module settings, products or categories, etc. Not having that ability will slow me down quite a bit.
Hey, turns out there's a work-around in Firefox. Ctrl-click on the Reload button, and it will open a new tab that's a clone of the current one. Haven't tested it thoroughly, but it should help in many cases.

Well, first time I logged in this morning, no images were loading, so I took a screen shot.
Sorry, I've tried to be patient and nice, but I am SO SICK of these stupid javascript elements that won't load properly or fully. I have to keep shutting off Google Chrome and restarting just to get them to load. Hitting reload won't work. And even when they do work, they start disappearing after several minutes. Seriously, I try not to sound frustrated, but this really SUCKS.
The Javascript elements not loading must be an issue either with third party mods or something else in your browser. This was far and away the most well tested release we've ever had (as well as the lowest "issue" rate from a technical perspective on upgrade). Virtually all the issues so far have been from either out of date or broken third party mods.
Can you open a ticket (or send it to me privately) if you have specific examples other than the affiliate thing you just posted?
I'll have Dev look at your affiliate thing this morning.
I'd just like to second (third or fourth) that emotion. We use multiple tabs all the time, for editing products, or viewing multiple "sections" of MIVA, like for instance custom fields and page design, at the same time. It would really be great to get it back somehow.
