    Optics ReadyTheme missing templae updates.

For testing purposes I installed the Optics theme on my MM Developer Store and another Dev store and was just doing a comparison of the template changes (http://www.miva.com/version9-template-changes) and noticed right away that these changes are not in the Optics Framework when applied to the site.

I downloaded the Optics ReadyTheme and the files in the package are all dated 11/11/2014.

All the basket / checkout page have been updated to the new page templates to support discounting.

However, we also realized there were a couple areas that were missed. We will be pushing out an update soon to correct this.

For now you'll have to make them manually.

Any ETA on the update of this template?

I just noticed if a product has only one image the large pop-up image will not display. As soon as I add a 2nd image the pop up will work for both images.

I also noticed that Bootstrap is not being called in Optics ReadyTheme and Suivant ReadyTheme.

It would be nice to be able to use all of the Bootstrap Components and JavaScript.

I want to use accordions for additional product filed data.

The retro theme and base theme is the only themes which uses the bootstrap framework. Both Optics and Suivant are using a custom responsive framework we developed in house.

Each has its trade offs. With Bootstrap you get all the existing components that are essentially just plug and play. With our custom framework, we have complete control over the code syntax and with that typically comes speed of development for new sites/frameworks.
