Changing Fortunes

There is a fortune on every page. Is there a way to make a form in the admin where the cookie chef could enter a new fortune without involving my ultra hi-tech services?

Same with the front page image? I would like a radio button next to a thumbnail that lights up the correct holiday image.

MM9's ReadyThemes offers Banner and Content Section management capabilities. While it won't quite work exactly as you have specified, ReadyThemes is meant for just this, provide the ability to easily manage certain displays from within the admin. That said, you will probably need to engage in some ultra hi-tech services to get things setup.
