Volume Pricing Module Not Calculate Correctly

    Hi

The volume discounts I have added doesn't calculate correctly
for example I have shown the calculation test I have carried out below

The below calculations are based in this price group value set - buy 10 products and receive 10% off

If the product price ends in .00 ie a $3.00 product then fine no problem
If the product price ends in .50 ie $3.50 then fine no problem
now the problem starts when the product price ends without a zero

    i.e. A product price of $3.78 should be times 10 for Volume Discount = $37.80 -10% $3.78 Total = $34.02

The total on screen says discount of $3.80 and the Total = 34.00

Is the rounding problem here ?

    NOTE:
All seems to be set up in line with the Video here
    http://www.miva.com/videos/store_owners/volume-pricing

My prices are shown excluding Vat

    Thank you

The price of each item changes based on the volume. The basket prices are two decimal places. $3.78 - 10% = $3.40 (rounded from $3.402). So in the individual price in the basket you should see $3.40. Then in the extended (ie quantity of 10) you should see $34.00.

      Hi Bill

This is surely confusing for the customer
      as it should be £3.78 each x 10 items - 10% discount totaling £34.02

see the screen shot of how the customer would see it in the basket and surely going to cause a stream of inquiries to where their 2p has gone

Your problem is that you are displaying 3.78 in the basket in the price column. That number should be the discounted price since it is for each individual item. Hence the price column should be showing 3.40 each to avoid confusion. You could use a strike thru like you did for the extended amount to show the individual item price before and after the 10% discount.

          Cheers! Bill

Went with the strike-through as it kept the continuity
          looks right now

          Thanks again
