What is Miva using in the APP Store for electronic delivery?

I am using Viking Soft Goods in a 4.24 store to deliver PDF's to customers. I need to replace it in a upgraded V9 store.

We're using the eMediaSales Softgoods module (they charge $19.95 a month for it, or I think $360 for a two year license) and yes we pay it just like everyone else

Rick, I think you are grandfathered in on their old individual module rates at $19.95. Our clients are paying the $119.95 per month everything subscription rate to use any Viking mods these days.

Actually no, this is a brand new pricing (that may not even be on their site yet). They now offer single mod subs for 19.95/month or I think $380 per 2 years. You might need to call and ask for right now though.

I spoke with Alex and he confirmed the pricing. Though you do have to pay $119.99 for the subscription service and you can then do a 2 year license of a single app at $359.76. The real 2 year cost is $479.75.

That's right, I forgot about his setup fee. It's worth noting the second two year period would be the lower cost in a model like this.

When will Miva be offering digital downloads as part of Miva?

Am going through the very challenging task of changing from Miva 4 to Miva 9. I did not have to pay a monthly fee for the Viking Softgoods module in Miva 4 and now with miva 9 there is a monthly subscription fee for the softgoods module.

Am continuing to look around for ways to do digital downloads. Pinnacle offers digital downloads as part of their offering. https://www.pinnaclecart.com/miva-vs-pinnacle-cart/

Not anytime soon (as in not in 2015 and likely not in 2016), the Viking Coders module is great (it's what we use) and if you only use that 1 module from them, it's roughly $480 for a two year license and then $360 per 2 years after that.

Lots of competitors have lots of features, we build great features that enhance the core product in a unique way and don't worry about "checkbox" marketing that our competitors strive toward.

Oh, yea...by all means...move to pinnacle...they have tons of features....none of which work very well. :)
