Re: Backup or Export ALL Pages prior to installing Suivant ReadyTheme?
I don't know exactly what this backs up, but Mark Hood suggested to back up your existing framework under:
User Interface > Frameworks
I also have a ticket in with customer support asking that same question, and whatever they respond to me, I will post here as well.Mark Romero

Re: Backup or Export ALL Pages prior to installing Suivant ReadyTheme?
I had previously asked them, and they told me to copy and paste each page sections into a text file.
Sure hope there is some way to do that in the Miva admin via one click. Would be a pain to have to navigate through each page and have to copy the latest template.Mark Romero

Mark,
We have a free Backup module, I thought it was up on the App Store, but I think it's still in queue to get posted. If you contact support they'll email it to you.
Otherwise you can use the Page/Import Export and/or Framework. All of the above is also not the worst idea.

Yeah the Page Import/Export (which used to be it's own Tab in 5.5) is now just "baked in" to the UI.
Hopefully this screen shot is big enough, but under Pages, select any Pages you want to Export (or Import) and click the appropriate button. You set the path for Import/Export on the Settings Tab of the User Interface Section.

Re: Backup or Export ALL Pages prior to installing Suivant ReadyTheme?
Thanks, Rick! One problem though, the system flashed Page was exported successfully too fast, but it did not indicate where. MM4.24 would display path where file was exported to and the message was permanently displayed. Remember, I'm new to MV9.Thank you, Bill Davis

/httpdocs/editable_templates/[your_store_code]/mm5
where the token "your_store_code stands for your store's code.
Hope this helps.Mark Romero

Thanks, but it looks like our dev site was setup differently. We dont have a /mm5 folder after the store code.
I would give this a shot: got to:
User Interface > Settings
Then scroll to the VERY bottom of the page and you might see something like:
Template Import/Export Settings
And hopefully it will have the full path to the folder with the templates.Mark Romero

Re: Backup or Export ALL Pages prior to installing Suivant ReadyTheme?
Out of curiosity...
Is the framework save in the DB? Or is it save to html files (the way that the export pages function works)?
I like the export pages for being able to look into the old code locally and then copy and paste anything that needs to be added (like the various toolkit calls).Mark Romero

Re: Backup or Export ALL Pages prior to installing Suivant ReadyTheme?
The framework export exports all pages to a single pkg (package) file. This file lives on the server and is not in the database. It is a tar file and can be unzipped if needed to view the raw pages but that is not how it was intended to be used. You're better off leaving it as a single file so it can be easily be re-imported.
