FedEx Close Service Available To Non-Admins

The FEDEX CLOSE SERVICE which is found under UTILITIES should be available to the User login (NON-ADMIN login.)
I can process an order from beginning to end using a User login except for the FedEx Close Service which I use daily after my shipments are generated. I have to login as Admin to access that menu item.

If you can change that, I would not have to login as Admin on a regular daily basis just to process and ship orders.

I moved this to it's own thread since it's not relevant to the new pricing model (the fee is charged based on simultaneous Administrative Screen access, not whether the person themselves is marked as a Store Admin or just a plain user).

As for the actual feature request, that's a legitimate one and currently a limitation of our API for the screen it's on. I've asked Dev to look into how we could make that available to non-store admins.

I guess you just lost me here....

I am logged in as ADMIN because I am doing Admin "work" on the store...and that counts as 1 seat which is included in the new pricing model.

Then I have a USER that is responsible for day to day shipping of orders and he needs to use the FEDEX CLOSE SERVICE at the end of his shipping day. He must then log out as a "User" and log in as "Admin" - for which I am already logged in as Admin....

That then becomes a "simultaneous Screen Access" - doesn't it? Now we are using 2 seats, correct?

Yes, but even if he's not an "Admin" and just a "User" it still counts as a Seat. Any employee (or contractor, or what have you) that logs in simultaneously to the back end is a seat.

Wow - It appears I totally misunderstood the "admin" seat.
So literally, only 1 person can be logged in to Miva Admin at a time. It does not matter what type of privileges the person has - User or Admin.

That's correct, unless you purchase more seats.
