Follow-on Contact and Coupon codes

Hello

Does Follow-on contact by emporium plus, work with built in Miva 9 coupons and pricegroups? Does M9 have anything like Follow-on Contact built in to automatically send emails for customers a week or two after the purchase, or do we need to continue using the emporium plus coupon redemption module to send a follow up email with a coupon code?

Follow on Contact is probably the best Miva Module for sending follow up emails. (There are third party services that do this too). There is nothing new in Version 9 to replace this module.

Is the code you are sending unique to just that customer and generated dynamically? If it is not, then there is nothing stopping you from using our built in coupon system.

We also will be releasing soon a downloadable module (free) that gives you the ability to generate V9 coupon codes via an item tag so you can dynamically create coupons on the fly in based off conditionals in the template code.

Brennan,

Yes, Each customer order get a follow up email that has a unique discount code for that customer as well as a write a review link for each product they purchase. As for general email campaigns ( our opt in email club ), we just switched from constant contact to infusionsoft. (not the cart, but the email CRM appears to be more advanced than constant contact or mail chimp. We look forward to seeing this module by MIVA.
