Gift Certificates roadmap for v9?

Now that v9 is released I wanted to start a thread to get an idea, if possible, of what the current status is of the built in Gift Certificate functionality? I know Rick has in the past stated it's a high priority, but I just wanted to check in as we have a few store owners dying to get this functionality.

As for things like the Sebenza Gift Certificates module, I read where that bug was fixed in v9 causing the rounding error. I haven't had time to test in my dev store, and frankly I really don't want to if possible as I'd rather use a Miva built in functionality over a module that's not supported anymore.

So Rick....any updates on this? Timeframe? Ready tomorrow?!? ;-)

Not quite tomorrow, but very soon. It'll be in 9.0003, which we're hoping is ready by MivaCon in March.

It's going to have a lot of juicy new stuff.

Oh yea I am! I removed my Gift Certificate module because of age and EOL about a year ago.

Ditto - have had a number of store owners give up the ghost for the same reason.
