    Miva 9 and scrolling question

Seems choppy... When scrolling using slider it seems to jump some making it hard to line up work.
Also, didn't i read somewhere that 9 once you adjust some code then update it will keep the location of edit and not jump back to the top of the code?. As of now once code edited and update it jumps back to the top. Using chrome.

I'm confused, where are you seeing this behavior? In the admin?

        Ok, a couple questions.

        What version? 9.0000 or 9.0001/2?

        What browser?

And what do you mean slider? What exactly are you doing?
        Thanks,

Re: Miva 9 and scrolling question

Hi Rick. Version shows Miva Merchant 9.0002.
Slider im referring too is the scroll bar right of code box. Its working, yet using to slide or click a arrow up and down its jumping per click more than 1 line at a time. So in this case, if I try to go 1 line down to get to a piece of the code its jumping too far. Using the slider itself i can line up better, yet still isn't scrolling smoothly.

As part of the other question is I thought when working on code and after update it was supposed to return to that location. Meaning, if mid code box i adjust something in the header/footer then hit update it was to return to that piece of edited code.Perhaps i was wrong on hearing about that feature though.

Browser used was chrome. Same behavior with Firefox also.

Yep same issue papi. Are you also getting when editing code and updating it returns to the top of the code box instead of retaining to its place of edit?

Yes, that is what I observe.

I have noticed the issue seems to be related to how long the page is. For instance in order processing > shipments, if I shorten the page by filtering records by status and only display those in picking, the vertical scrolling works just fine. When it is unfiltered and showing thousands of records, that's when the problem surfaces.

I just sent in a screen shot of some other things oddly seen today... I'm thinking this is some type of css issue. Nothing listed here impedes the usage of the work performed, just makes it difficult at times especially doing coding.

Ok, I just tried it in Chrome and was able to recreate it (and show Dev).

Dan or Papi, do you guys have Safari? I couldn't cause it to happen in Safari (on a Mac), but I could in Chrome.
                      Thanks,

I routinely use Miva Admin on Firefox (v35.0.1). That is where I noticed the problem. I only have Safari on an iPad and it does not have a vertical scroll bar for order processing, rather it displays a pagination widget on the bottom of the page to advance to next page. Seems to work ok on the iPad.

Now that we can reliably re-create it (and we understand it), I'm sure we'll track it down and squash it.

Hi Rick.. Sorry it took so long. I just sent you that image. No safari here, just latest FF and Chrome. Sorry it was so hard to explain. This image shows another issue, which i believe if i could take a less educated guess would be a css issue which may just be the reason for both these issues.

                            Hopefully it helps.
