Add Box Weight To Shipping Calculation

Is there a way to add the box weight to an order? We ship small items that can go USPS First Class Parcel and they have a weight limit of .8 pounds. People can order items that are exactly this weight and then we can't ship this method because adding the box weight puts it over.

If the total box weight can't be over .8 lbs, then you can subtract the box weight, lets use .2lbs for this example and the under shipping rules, you can go into that shipping method and put a max weight of .6lbs. This will cause miva to now show that shipping option if the weight is over the total.

While that is a great idea for preventing the order, I still have to manually alter the shipping weight for USPS. Not a big issue for these small orders (unless someone gets postal), but for an order that is .99, I still need to edit the weight before printing the label as USPS will charge more for a package that hits the one pound mark. The best solution is still a way to enter a box weight. I will do your work around, but it doesn't address the entire issue. Future feature perhaps.
