Miva 9 does not work in my store.

    Miva 9 does not work in my store.

    Miva 9 does not work in my store. It constantly freezes up. We I try to update inventory it just says processing and I have to exit the tab to make it stop. Then go back and try again. It does the same thing when updating category fields. Today the new twist is my search box no longer works. I opened a support ticket and the response I received on March 1st. was that it was working fine.

    I am getting behind in my work with no hope of ever catching up!

    Has anyone had the same issue and know how to solve it?

    I've never heard of this thus far, have you tried a new browser?

      I am using a Mac with Safari. I have not tried any other browsers.

        That is very odd, I use a Mac with Safari all the time and performance is great.

        Can you try it with Chrome?

        The fact that your search is broken though sounds like something else is wrong with your store, or a third party module is breaking your admin.

        You should contact support.

          Hello Donna,

          Can you let us know what operating system and browser/browser version you are using? I would only imagine that running into issues like that would be happening on archaic software like Windows XP (which is end of life as of April 2014) and Internet explorer 8. If you could also let us know the specs on the machine that you are using, specifically CPU and Memory (RAM). There isn't any hardware requirements for Miva 9, but if you're running on a machine that was built in the early 2000's or late 90s, with a 900MHz CPU, 512MB of RAM and Windows XP then you can expect this type of performance.

            Donna,

            I guess I was in mid reply when you posted that you were using a MAC. Can you send me your ticket # and I can reply to via our ticketing system. Like Rick mentioned, it works fine on MAC. We have many users in house that are on MAC without any issues.
