Customer wants last 4 digits of credit card on confirmation email

    Hello forum:
Would displaying the last 4 digits of the credit/debit card used for payment on the customer confirmation email violate PCI compliance?
    Thanks, Larry

No - this is not a PCI issue. We have been doing it for a couple years now on both our stores.

Although I'm not a PCI expert or QSA last time I checked this doesn't violate PCI compliance.

Blarson, thanks for the reply. Looked at some of my credit card receipts and they all have this information. Should have done that first before posting.
      Cheers, Larry
