    More Marketing Discount Combinations

I'm needing to be able to set up a discount for 2 products that must be bought together to get the discount and the discount can only be applied to these two products.

I'm taking a WAG at this (not sure if it's correct)

    Eligibility: All Shoppers
    Type: Product Discount
    Discount: 10.00 Percent

Everything else I've left alone (left the default 0's in the fields)

I have added the 2 products as both the Qualifying and Discounted Products

I'm about to go test this to see if it's going to work, but if anyone sees a flaw in my "logic", please jump in.

Also, I'm thinking at some point, we may need to start a repository for all these great combinations that are now available.

Quick note - my logic is already clearly off. I added just one of the two products to the basket and got the discount. I may need to try the Buy X Get Y

So I'm trying the Buy X Get Y settings - it's giving the discount to only one of the products, instead of giving 10% off to each product.

How do I get past the Apply Discount To: Lowest (or Highest) Priced Line Item? I need it to apply to both?

I need this functionality also. Did anything get solved regarding this?

You should be able to do this with two separate price groups. For each group put the qualifying product as one of the products and the discount as the other. This way when both products are in the cart it will trigger both discounts.

Thanks for the prompt reply Brennan. I can't get it to work. I made 2 price groups. Price Group 1 has Product A as qualifying and Product B as discounted. Price Group 2 has Product B as qualifying and Product A as discounted. I have the Type on both Price Groups as Product Discount. When I add Product A to the basket it shows the discounted price even though Product B has not been added and vice versa. Anything I have done above show my error?

For each of the price groups, the qualifying products are ignored unless you have a qualifying quantity field set to 1 (or more). By default it is 0.

Thank you. That was the missing piece of the puzzle.
