MMUI to CSSUI - Sebenza Ultimate Reviews lost

Store had a MMUI to CSSUI conversion done. They just discovered that none of their reviews are in their redone store since the Sebenza Ultimate Reviews module had never been (re)installed. It would also appear that there is no export/import capabilities for this module (unless the store owner opted to go with one of the two new review options).

The Miva MMUI to CSSUI tool is still down the road and I'm wondering if it's even going to be able to convert / pull in this data too (I'll have to check on that).

I'm suspecting that not too many people have worried about losing this type of data since I didn't find anyone else posting concerns about it so I doubt there is/has been any huge demand for any sort of export/import for the review data.

What has everyone else that might be or had been using this module do or have done to preserve this data?

If you have access to the original store, you could grab the databases themselves, though, since the Sebenza reviews uses Product IDs, you might need to first correlate those IDs with actual product codes (then back...ugh).

I know it might be barn door cows gone situation, but our Easy Review module automatically exports/converts/then import sebenza review data...though you would have had to install it in the old store first.

I don't think an mmui/cssui tool would ever touch old third party data...too many...too many ah, interesting database architecture choices. This should be better down the line as all third party developers now get the importance of proper "database architecture."

If old data can be dug up, (reviews and products) we'd be happy to give converting a try if they want to use Easy Review.

Yes, the original store is still available. That's how I was able to determine what module the store had been using for product reviews. Brennan had already pointed out to me the issue with Product ID and how it could be difficult to remap everything. Easy Review already has been placed on the table as an option.
