Reserved Seats and Shipworks and Synchro

Before I upgrade to version 9 I would like to know how Synchro and Shipworks get around needing a reserved seat. I recall Rick mentioning that they would not need reserved seats to work. Thanks.

The don't NEED one, but you will have to be careful not to be in the admin, and make sure you have officially logged out (not just close the browser) before either outside application tries to connect to the admin.

I just asked about this myself last week. There is a URL parameter that can be added to an admin.mvc call, and indicates a temporary session. In this case, the store lets the user do a single action, and then logs them out immediately. This works even if all the seats are in use.

Yes Kent I agree with you. Now that I have upgraded to version 9 and tested shipworks. Its seems that I can use Shipworks while logged into MIVA administration without any issues. Thank you MIVA for this.
