Method to convert third party coupons?

Maybe I was hallucinating, but I thought I heard someone say there is a module/method to setup coupons in the new Marketing feature with the data from existing third-party modules? I have stores that use both the EmporiumPlus Coupon Redemption module and the Sebenza Ultimate Coupons which has configured coupons they would like setup in the Marketing Coupons.

Miva's new coupon system allows you to import coupons from CSV so it would be a two step process.

    1. Create the different discount types via the admin (Price Groups)
    2. Export the coupons from the 3rd party module and import them into Miva, assigning them to the correct price group.

Can you elaborate on the different discount types? What data is imported?

You would need to create the price group, say 20% off, then in the import you would associate a coupon with a price group code.

          Brennan,

How do you export the coupons from Miva in order to transfer them to a dev site?

There's no export function in the admin for this, so you'd need to export the table from the database. You could then convert that to a CSV file.
