    Volume Pricing by Specific Increments

Hi! First off, awesome patch release. I literally got all giddy at work reading over the release notes, so major props and thanks!

My question is about a specific scenario of volume pricing. We wholesale a lot of our products but the discount only applies to box amounts. For example:

If wholesale customer buys 1 x item they get 15% discount
If wholesale customer buys 12 x item they get 50% discount

This all works great until a customer buys 14 of an item and all 14 are discounted 50%, when only 12 should be discounted 50% and the other 2 should be discounted 15%. I hope that makes sense.

So essentially we need the volume pricing to only discount instances of x (some are 6, some are 12, etc.) at 50%, and all other instances at the lower amount. Is there any way with the volume pricing feature that this is possible?

    Thanks much!

One quick work-around is to sell the item in singles and 12-packs, by creating a separate product for the 12-pack; then you can set the 12-pack's price to give the desired discount. This may interfere with inventory counts, if you're using them. In that case, I think you can do a sum-of-parts variant setup for the 12-pack, so that purchases of it will reduce the count for the single-unit product.

If all else fails, you can drop me a line to talk about a custom module for this.

    Thanks --
