Default Variant - has any one figured out how to apply a discount? Picklist

    Hello,

We have kits. Emporium Plus Kit maker does a good job in creating a kit from a set of products and applying a kit discount.

I was wondering if anyone had figured out how to apply a discount for a kit - which would be a default variant.

The second piece of the puzzle is - can I blow it out in the Shipping List? So if I have a DefaultVariant of a Table and 4 chairs the pick list can be written so that warehouse people know to pick the table A and 4 of the chairs B.

    Here is hoping.

    Thanks
    Sam

Clarification? Are you saying you want a set price for a "set" of items, but for it to appear on the pick list as 5 separate items? If so, do they look at attributes at all?

    For example:

Product whatever is named: Table Chair Set
    Attributes appear as:
[attribute code same as product sku] Table - Q 1
[attribute code same as product sku] Chair - Q 4

I can make them appear as attributes if absolutely necessary - but there are no choices as such - they would all default.

At the moment I am creating a default variant which has
      Table Q 1
      Chairs Q 4

      Price controlled by master product

Then I use Kit Maker from Emporium Plus to duplicate that info and come up with a discounted price = (price of table + Price of 4 Chairs)*(1- percent discount)

I was hoping that I could do all this in Miva.

If I just have the default variant it shows up as one line (SET) in the invoice and shipment. I wanted to create a shipment pick list that says
      SET
      TABLE - Q 1
      CHAIRS - Q 2
So that people in the warehouse dont have to think.

      Thanks
      Sam

You posted in the 5.5 thread. When you move to version 9, you can implement a multiple product add at the category level. Couple this with discounted pricing via a Price Group and you should get what you want - all products added as individual line items.

Where do I find docs on Multi Product Add?
          Thanks
