Anyone have a DHL solution? 2015 Edition

Has anyone written a DHL module since they went international only?

I searched and the last reference to a DHL module in the forums was in 2012 and that was also asking if there was a module. :)

Only if you can convince DHL to foot the 10K plus cost of development. I'd say the chances of a third party taking this on are basically less odds than PowerBall (and about as cost effective for the developer :) ).

I think the old DHL mod still works, but is unsupported.

Are you saying DHL wants $10k for API access? Or is that just the time/cost to develop something?

I think he means the time/cost to develop. I doubt they charge for API Access (but I haven't checked).

Was Gilligan the only DHL module available?

He seems to be out of the module business altogether.

It's not for sale, but I can dig up a copy if you want to play with it. Email me off forum.

                Thanks Rick and Bruce.

My boss wanted to add DHL to have another international rate show since everyone elses rates keep skyrocketing.

I've written lots of custom shipping modules, and none of them costed anywhere near $10k. I haven't done one for DHL yet, but I do have modules available for Yellow Freight, Old Dominion, and several other carriers. And of course, I can always write a DHL module for you. If you're interested in any of these solutions, you can drop me a line by email to discuss it in detail.

                  Thanks --
