updating the coupon module on OSEL

We have an old Miva site that we need to update to use the new coupon module for Miva 9. I've gotten the coupon box code in place on the OSEL page, and added the messages code and assigned the messages item to the page. The coupon code works BUT every time you click the "apply coupon" button the OCST page reloads and clears out all the customer information. Once you re-enter the information and go back to OSEL the coupon has been applied.

Any ideas out there for what might be causing this?

Check the form action. What Screen is the form submitting to? If the form is on OSEL, the coupon form should also be going to OSEL. It sounds like it is submitting to OCST, which is why the fields are showing up blank.
