    Suivant navigation behavior

    Hi folks,

I'm setting up a store with the Suivant theme, and it has a lot of categories. We want to make a couple of changes in the behavior of the main nav bar, which is running in the "Horizontal Drop-down" style, to make it work better for these long menus. (I know, having lots of cats is not a recommended practice; but there are a couple of reasons why the client doesn't want to reduce the number of cats, or make the display more compact by using more nesting.) I've seen these features on other sites, so I'm hoping someone has done them already with Suivant?

    1. If a sub-menu (level 3) is long enough or wide enough to extend beyond the edge of the screen, we'd like it to automatically shift itself up or to the left, as needed, so that the whole thing is visible.

    2. If the user pops out a menu or sub-menu, and then moves his mouse pointer off the menu to use the scroll bar, we want the menu to remain visible. It should stay until the user clicks an option; or they can click on some other part of the page to make the menu disappear without jumping to a new page.

Has anyone done these things? Got a code snippet to share?

    Thanks --
