    ReadyTheme sans categories / products

Would it be possible to have two versions of a theme? One with the categories and products and one without? I understand the significance of including them and sure it's just a minor annoyance to remove them after installation, but it is a wish.

You mean a CMS only theme?

I'm not sure if that is what you would call it. For example, when you load the Iron & Wool (or Suivant) ReadyTheme it adds categories and products. That's great for a fresh install for a new to Miva store owner. They are excellent how-to examples. When you add that same ReadyTheme to an existing store that already has categories and products, you'll need to go in and delete those products & categories. Yes, you would also need to do this in a fresh install that would eventually have it's own categories and products. I was just thinking in terms of someone who would like to skip having to delete these items and get down to business of tweaking the ReadyTheme to their liking.

      Does that unmuddy it any?

That makes sense and is totally different than what I thought you meant. I'll talk to Brennan about it.

A tad bit more work, but ultimately easier to manage would be a "Demo Data" module. When activated, adds the demo data to the store. When Deactivate, removes it...so you wouldn't technically need to manage two Theme libraries.
