Is there a clever way to share products and inventory between two Miva stores?

I am thinking of using Synchro and Quick Books as the hub, but for us Synchro has some issues with "kits" - inventory kits not going into Quickbooks easily without creating all permutations of item groups.

But there are two databases that are very similar - just wondering if someone has come up with a clever way.

Channel Advisor could be an option ... but everythingshas its own wrinkle.

In our case the two stores cater to different clients with different look and feel, brand names etc.

    Thanks
    Sam

Some years ago I wrote a custom module that can synch the products in two stores. When you make changes to products in one store, they are automatically transmitted to the other. If that's of interest, you can drop me a line by email to discuss it further.

    Thanks --

aaannndddd...there's your problem. 'very' similar, in database land, is essentially, 'completely' different. There's probably not going to be an easy way short of a decent investment to accomplish this.

The possible short term or more laborious method would be to allocate inventory to each store based on a separate master, and swap inventories are needed.

I know that Royal Shave does this with all their stores. It's very effective on the front end, but I'm not sure how they've done the back end integration. You can see what they do here: http://www.royalshave.com/
