    Suivant issue on CTGY

I messed something up on my dev. Seeing what it would look like with left nav removed from CTGY pages, i unassigned (or possible assigned) something in items pertaing to category, (thinking it was the category nav display)... and it went to a standard look loosing its default. I'm not sure what I did. What I un assigned and then checked and once things went to hell, I put back yet display never came back correctly. Any ideas as to how to fix?

    Thanks

Check your template version to make sure it didn't accidentally roll back. Also make sure the readytheme item is assigned to the page.

Thanks Leslie. I did check that and history shows it to be the day of install as i did nothing to alter default display. As for readytheme it is assigned. I just don't get what happened.

      Thanks

Looking at all in the CTGY page... All places say "updated by framework", yet in history in the product list layout, I have original only. is that right?... I tried going back to original yet that didn't fix it. This all worked beautifully until I unassigned something, screen changed, then I re-assigned and it never came back.

I just re applied framework... Couldn't take it any longer. Thanks.

Edit - I suppose I will never know why that happened, which is the scariest of issues.

Dan, Its pretty easy to activate or deactivate MVT Items from a page template. Those assignments are not made automatically (in most cases) and are not 'saved' along with actual page templates (maybe in the future--but not now). I assume a inadvertent item switch was the most likely cause.

Hi Bruce. That definitely sounds like what it was. I don't recall in the old days, un-assigning an item to be so detrimental by design, maybe I just got lucky but I seem to recall if something did get messed up reassigning would fix it. Apparently Not this round, meaning I need to be that much more careful poking around.

Thanks Bruce, have a good one my friend.
