    UPS Custom Integration down - any news

    Today starts off with orders that have no shipping charged. Come to find out UPS Custom Integration has been disabled because our license was not able to be validated. It appears this is because the license server is down. This is not good.

    Does anyone have any more information on this? Are these guys still around and working on it or should we start looking for other solutions? Their ticket system is also down and we have not received a response to our email so I'd rather not sit around waiting for something to be fixed when its actually been unplugged and is not coming back.

    Both VC's UPS and USPS modules are down.

      We're going to see if we can get in touch with them; we haven't heard anything specifically. Looks like just a database server that isn't running on their site, which the license manager is probably tied to.

        They got back to me and confirmed their database server is down and they're actively working on it.

          I was under the impression that changes had been made to their modules that prevented this from happening when short term problems arose with their licensing server.

          Guess not ???

            If that information is from a reliable source, I'd first check to be sure the most recent version of the Module is installed.

                      Mike's issue was an isolated incident. For everyone else, the steps that Rick provided is exactly what you will need to do in order to get your module back up and running.

                      1. Pull up the module's tab in your Miva admin.

                      2. Hit the update button in the top right hand corner for Miva 9 and the bottom right hand for Miva 5.5

                      Once you do this, it re-initiates the communication to our server and the module is back up and running.

                      We apologize for the inconvenience, but we have take taken steps to ensure this will not be an issue in the future.
