Abandoned Cart E-mails - Best Option?

What does everyone suggest as the best option for abandoned cart e-mails?

We've used Emporium Plus' Restock Shelves module to do it. Works flawlessly. And we don't do inventory, so that's not an issue. It will send an Email to any cart an Email address is associated with, so if the customer is shopping signed in or has started the checkout process it will send them an Email that you get to design.

Thanks for the suggestion. We run the restock every few minutes so that might not be the best option for us unfortunately.

Agreed. We give our carts a couple of hours between processing.

Things like Listrak do this as well.

We looked into Listrak but they wanted a 40K commitment which is way outside of my budget for shopping cart abandonment e-mails.

                Yeah I understand.

We're looking at building a product like theirs but that's more automated (and affordable) but it's a 2016 project.
                Thanks,

Mod the Emporium Plus module to have a count function that only does the Email every X cart recoveries. Sure would be of benefit to the high cart recovery crowd.

nottheusual1 - Did you have any problem in testing with the recipient address token: %to|[email protected]% ? My emails send but bounce back because the last character of the email address get cut off. It is trying to send to [email protected] .

                      Hi Jim,

                      No -- didn't experience that.
