Wish Lists

I have Sebenza's Wish List module and the send an email option isn't working. A support ticket with them isn't getting a response. Are they still in business? Does anyone know how to get this fixed?

Or, how do I use MIVA's wish list option?

Does it have its own mail server setting, and if so, does that setting match the store's Domain Settings mail area? Some third party modules have their own mail server settings. If the site is hosted with us, we can take a look.

Unfortunately, it is not hosted with you. How do I set up wish lists using MIVA? My version is:

Miva Merchant 9.0004
MivaScript Engine v5.22
Database API: mysql

I noticed when I sent a test email to my personal email ([email protected]) this message appeared at the top of the screen:

Instruction on how to use the built in wishlist are here:

You'll need to make the page template changes for 9.0004 first:

http://www.miva.com/mm9.4_template_changes.html

It is worth noting the ability to email a wishlist is not a default feature but can be added with some template code.

Is it possible to transfer Sebenza Wish List's to the Miva built in Wish List? I don't want to interfere with any current holiday wish lists on our site by getting rid of Sebenza right before the holidays.

Jo it's not just the Wish List module. There is something not right with the mail server.

Follow up on this. Jo's host does not use the "standard" localhost configuration for Domain Settings > Mail Settings. Instead her site is configured to use her mail server. She has confirmed that the password for the user name is correct. She's not sure how long this hasn't been working but is concerned that something in the upgrade from MM5.5 to MM9 might be preventing mail from being sent because of the "Relay access denied" error.

Also it's not just the Sebenza Wish List module that is affected. She's having problems with EmporiumPlus modules too. The Mail Manager and Tell A Friend modules are giving this error too.
