How can you add Military Addresses into the Miva Countries?

Actually ,I was on the phone all day with USPS.No such thing as you speak.There is nothing,I repeat nothing for an APO or FPO built into the USPS module for MIva 5.so I had to change my website under shipping policies that the above will be shipped priority mail and takes up to 14 days for delivery.Anyone in disagreement with this ,please feel free to let me know.

I'm a little afraid to add it to the states, but I'm not using any UPS or USPS for the site I'm going to add it to, so we'll see if it crashes! Thanks guys.

Hmm, it seems that the inbuilt USPS module does have a problem with APO/FPO...not sure why. Our USPS Advanced module supports them though.

The lack of these options would be on the part of your shopping cart program. You would need to contact the software vendor for information about correcting this problem.

So could someone look into this fiasco and come up with a step by step instructions .I know that you log into Miva and under states add state and then what .Would appreciate to the utmost.

In order to have APO addresses entered with the default MM5 config and USPS shipping module we use this method:

Company: Used to enter extra addressing info
Address: Camp Taji, IRAQ (Sample address)
City: APO
State/Province: Outside US
Other State/Province: AE (example)
Zip Code: 09378 (applicable Zip)
Country: United States

I just added AA, AE and AP to the states list and it worked fine for my miva 4 and miva 5 stores and usps delived the charges to the stock miva shipping module just fine.

Go to the states section and click on the circular button on the top right that is for "new state"
then add AA for code and"Armed Forces Americas" for state name


AE Armed Forces Europe

AP Armed Forces Pacific
